    Actuated Medical has begun a longitudinal study investigating GentleSharp’s utility for Rodent blood sampling. We are examining the effect of GentleSharp on stress hormones over a Rodent’s life span. Stay tuned for updates on our progress.

  • 2 New Rodent Studies

    Actuated Medical started two more studies investigating GentleSharp utility for rodent blood sampling and the effect of GentleSharp on rodent stress hormone levels.  Each study is in collaboration with a leading research university.

  • Platform Session at AALAS

    Our research using GentleSharp has been accepted as a platform session at 2013 AALAS National Meeting. The presentation is entitled, “Vibrating Needle during Venipuncture Reduces Insertion Force and Yields Lower and Less Variable Average Corticosterone Levels in Rodents”.

  • University Rodent Study

    In May 2013, Actuated Medial conducted another study on GentleSharp efficacy. The study, conducted in collaboration with a leading university, examined the effects of GentleSharp on stress hormones in rodents.
